EARLY HELP

Pro Youth understand the importance of offering help and support to families at an early stage.  Offering early help can sometimes de-escalate a situation and prevent further problems or potential safeguarding issues.  Pro Youth are keen to work together with other services and families that have additional or more complex needs.

 

Early help can be offered at any point in a child’s life, from conception, through childhood and into adolescence. It can also prevent further problems arising by building resilience with families to find their own solutions in the future.

The purpose of early help is to put in the right support at the right time so that problems are less likely to escalate to a point where the child becomes vulnerable or in need. Early help is sustainable so that problems are less likely to re-occur.

Pro Youth will work in a joined up way with other local services to provide a holistic support package for families.
